MST CONFERENCES: Symposia and courses on materials and surface related phenomena

The conference director Dr. Kash Mittal Has edited over 100 volumes dealing with adhsion, thin films, particle contamination and cleaning, high temperature polymers and surfactants in solution. He was Editor in Chief of the Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology from 1987 to 2012 and has recently started the new journal Reviews of Adhesion and Adhesives. As part of his private practice, Dr. Mittal has in addition given lectures to audiences from all over the world on all of the aforementioned topics. This vast experience makes him uniquely qualified to direct the MST CONFERENCES symposium program series.

The conference chairman Dr. Robert H. Lacombe is a senior scientist with over 30 years experience in the field of materials science and technology ranging from thin film applications in the microelectronics industry to large scale modeling for nondestructive inspection of complex structures. Dr. Lacombe handles the technical aspects of the conferences and teaches technical courses on adhesion measurement techniques, characterization of thin film insulators and fracture mechanics of coatings.
